Surabaya (Antara Jatim) - The Surabaya city government is close to finalizing a concept of demographic and licensing services using APPS mobile application.
"We are in the process of making it. If every thing is alright, we will be ready to launch it next week," Surabaya Mayor Tri Rismaharini said while receiving representatives of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) at the Surabaya City Hall on Wednesday.
The city government has made every effort to bring the model of public service closer to the community by building an online licensing system called Surabaya Single Window (SSW).
Local residents can also make use of the system through e-Kiosk available at the offices of sub-district and village heads.
Risma said she will bring the licensing and demographic system to the mobile APPS to allow the public to access services through their cellular phones any time anywhere.
She said the residents wishing to procure demographic and licensing documents can download the application through their handphone.
If the documents are already available, the applicants can print out the documents themselves. "If they have no printer they can come to the village or sub-district office to print them," she said. (*)
