Hanoi, Vietnam (Antara) -- All players of the Indonesian soccer team, except Imanuel Wanggai who sustained a minor injury, are ready to take upon the Philippines team in the 2014 AFF Cup at the My Dinh stadium Tuesday, a coach has said. "Wanggai sustained a minor injury. I have spoken to him and told him he will not be fielded tomorrow and he understands that," the coach of the Indonesian squad, Alfred Riedl, said here on Monday. On Monday afternoon, the Indonesian team underwent light training for an hour at the My Dinh Stadium complex. The match between the Indonesian and Vietnamese senior soccer teams at the 2014 AFF Cup qualifier at the My Dinh stadium in Hanoi on Saturday evening, ended in a 2-2 draw. In the first half of the game, the Vietnamese squad appeared energetic, launching attacks from the midfield which were completed by its strikers, Nguyen Van Quyet and Nguyen Hai Anh. In the 11th minute, Vietnamese player Que Ngoc Hai scored the first goal of the match. The Indonesian line up equalized the score in its counter attack, with Zulham Zamrun scoring for his team in the 33rd minute. The score remained tied at 1-1 at the end of the first half. In the second half, Vietnamese player Le Cong Vinh scored the second goal for his team in the 68th minute. This goal was equalized by Indonesian striker Syamsul Arif in the 84th minute. Moreover, Indonesian coach Riedl said that he would continue to improve the speed and skills of his squad to defeat the opponents in the AFF Cup. (*) Reporting by Teguh Handoko
