Jakarta (Antara) - The Indonesian government has issued state sharia bonds (SBSN) worth Rp1 trillion through private placement, the Finance Ministry said.
The 26-year sharia bonds which will mature on September 15, 2040 are issued as part of the effort to meet the financing target in the 2014 state budget, the Directorate General of Debt Management at the Finance Ministry said in a press statement released on Tuesday.
The sharia bonds series PBS007 were issued on Monday (Sept 29) at a coupon of 9.00 percent and a yield of 9.10 percent, with yield payment made on March 15 and September 15.
The sharia bonds with "Ijarah Asset to be Leased" are tradable.
The government has appointed PT Dana Sekuritas as a counterpart in the private placement. (*)
