Jakarta (Antara) - Prabowo Subianto, who lost in the 2014 presidential election, expressed optimism that the Constitutional Court (MK) will be neutral and independent in investigating cases of alleged violations in the election. "God willing, God willing (MK neutral)," Prabowo said after attending an iftar with his running mate, Hatta Rajasa, and the red-white coalition team at the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) office here on Thursday. Prabowo, who did not talk much to the media on the occasion, denied an issue on the "disappearance" of Hatta Rajasa after the announcement of the presidential election recapitulation results by the General Elections Commission (KPU) on July 22. Apart from that Prabowo merely smiled to reporters. "Thank you," Prabowo said, as he went to his vehicle. Meanwhile, the team of lawyers of Prabowo Subianto and his running mate Hatta Rajasa will file a lawsuit with the MK against the KPU. Chairman of the Prabowo-Hatta's team of lawyers Firman Wijaya said they had accumulated evidence to support the lawsuit, which will be used by the MK. "We will file the lawsuit tomorrow. We have evidence in the form of data and oral evidence as testimony," Firman said here on Thursday. (*)
