Bandarlampung, Lampung (Antara) - The meteorology and geophysics (BMKG) office said an earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale hit the tourist island of Bali on Tuesday at 19.48 local time . The quake with epicenter in the sea at a depth of 10 kilometers, around 147 kilometers south of Denpasar or 973 kilometers southeast of Jakarta, would cause no tsunami, Yuharman, head of the BMKG, said here. There was no immediate report of damage or casualty caused by the quake, Yuharman added. (*)
