Jakarta (Antara) - Indonesia's Ministry of Defence plans to build a special unit of a Cyber Army aimed at preventing and tackling cyber attacks that can hurt the nation¿s defence and sovereignty. Minister of Defence Purnomo Yusgiantoro stated on Tuesday that the Cyber Army would be a part of the country's information and communication defence establishment. The army would consist of military personnel drawn from the Army, Navy and Air Force, as well as the civilian population. "A cyber attack than can disrupt our sovereignty could potentially take place," the minister revealed. Therefore, the Ministry is also planning to set up a Cyber Defence Center in collaboration with the Information and Communication Ministry. Yusgiantoro pointed out that there was no serious cyber threat looming at the moment. "It's still small, but we should stay alert." (*)
