Jakarta (Antara) - Low-cost carrier (LCC) airlines, Citilink, is preparing additional 120,000 flight seats to optimize the services of its 22 Airbus A320s in anticipation of increased passengers in the face of the post-fasting festivities. "The addition of 120,000 flight seats is included in the additional 16 flight frequencies which cover the routes of Jakarta-Surabaya and Jakarta - Padang," Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Citilink Arif Wibowo said in a press statement here on Friday. Arif said that after increasing flight frequencies on its five flight routes early this month, Citilink will further increase its flgiht frequencies to maximize the service of each of its Airbus A320s. "We believe the additional flights will meet high demand from passengers for flights during the post-fasting month holidays," he said. Based in Jakarta, Citilink serves the routes of Jakarta and Surabaya to Batam, Banjarmasin, Denpasar, Balikpapan, Yogyakarta, Medan, Palembang, Padang, Makassar, Pekanbaru, Lombok, Bengkulu, Jambi, Semarang, Malang, Pangkal Pinang and Tanjung Pandan.
